During our first house hunt my fiance and I had many questions and concerns entering the housing market for the first time. We were looking for a house with a nice layout that was a little distressed that we could fix up and make our own. The first house we met John after 5 minutes of touring the property he told us to run the other way pointing out many serious flaws that we may have overlooked. He continued to show us properties over the upcoming months always giving his honest opinion of the properties value, Condition etc. John always seems to have his clients best interest in ind instead of merely trying to “sell” them a house. When finally found the house we wanted he helped us negotiate and ultimately own a great property with good upside potential. We met alot of realtors in our search but every one of them seemed to lack different skills that John excelled at. Overall great experience, would recommend to anyone looking to purchase property. Thanks Again John!
Instrumental & Masterful
Tasha was instrumental (and masterful) in listing and selling three large and expensive houses for us in Manchester and Gloucester. This caliber of house usually takes several months to sell, but Tasha got right to work and produced phenomenal results for us. She was consistently available to chat and responsive to our needs…and questions. All three sales she adroitly negotiated, and we could not be happier with the way she handled herself representing us. Her integrity, exemplary work ethic and humor are what set her apart. Simply, she is the best at what she does.
Very professional and knowledgable about every facet of the deal, no matter how weird. Also went out of his way to make the extra effort to help get my property sold.
As a closing law firm and title company here in Massachusetts, we have had the pleasure of working with John Wells of Wellsco on many deals, with many clients and over many years. The most recent property we handled involved an investment single-family property for investor-clients of John’s (a young couple). John’s clients planned to renovate and rehab this home to live in for now and hopefully resell. John’s professional and compassionate involvement was critical to the success of this particular deal and his expert handling allowed this young couple to avoid the many potential pitfalls sometimes associated with home buying (let alone investment home buying with the added challenges of renovation). John’s work is a rare combination of expertise, market knowledge and empathy. It is with pleasure that we offer our very highest marks in this review.
Knowledgeable and Professional
Tasha was very knowledgeable and professional in all aspects of helping us find our home on the North Shore. She knows the towns, neighborhoods, and was proactive on listings which were about to become available. Once we found our home, she was instrumental with negotiations and inspections and really helped get us from offer to close to move in seamlessly. She has amazing contacts which we used to do work on the home and we couldn’t have been happier with her service, recommendations, and follow up. She is also extremely personable and understands that this can be stressful. My wife was pregnant during this process and she helped with local hospital and doctor recommendations which really made a difference during the process.
Friendly, caring, business knowledge exceptional and responsive to our differences of opinion…willing to go the extra mile to bring a positive sale experience. John has a great sense of humor.
John was excellent to work with. He knows many business people in the area and has great local knowledge. His local knowledge and experience helped me create realistic offers on town homes with specific clauses tp protect me in many ways. The offer and contingencies were well written by John and help, protect my financial interests. Great personality and pleasant to work with. John Returned calls and emails even late into the evening. I recommend that any one looking for real estate in this market should contact John Wells.
John brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to our home buying process and was great to work with as first time home buyers. He was very patient, explained every part of the process for us, and was always available and able to arrange his schedule to meet our needs. John has experience in the contracting and construction business. so he brought a real knowledge of and eye for structural integrity, electrical and plumbing systems and was very tuned into each component of every house we looked at. When we first started working with John, he took us out for a drink in Newburyport and got to know us and what we were looking for in a home and from that moment on, he made recommendations for us based on our preferences. We never felt like he was trying to talk us into something we didn’t want. We decided mid-way through our working with John to start looking in the Boston suburbs, which was not necessarily convenient for John, but amazingly he continued to work hard for us, did multiple visits with us to the house we ended up purchasing, and was very thorough and tough during the negotiation and purchasing process. His knowledge of the process was EXCELLENT! We couldn’t be happier about our experience with John; very respectful, always available and prompt in getting back to us, and we feel like we got the best deal we could have gotten under his guidance.
Wonderful to Work With
As my agent, Tasha was wonderful to work with. I am absolutely convinced that no other realtor could have helped me get my first home so quickly and without any trauma at all. She is an experienced and knowledgeable realtor. You couldn’t have anyone better in your corner!
I have known Marisa as a former co-worker and contacted her when moving from Cohasset to the North Shore. She helped me find the condominium complex that best suited my needs. She asked the right questions to help me avoid wasting time and energy looking at wrong towns and complexes. I was not surprised that she was very professional and easy to work with.
